EverPresence
Advocacy and consulting that helps governments and communities include places and phenomena as first-class presence in the decisions that affect them.
What this is
EverPresence Advocates designs inclusion processes and stewarded agents so a river, watershed, airshed, or mountain can hold standing presence in deliberation. It is a for-profit advocacy and consulting practice: it advises clients, champions the idea, and builds the stewarded presence that carries a place into the room.
Why it matters
Decisions about land, water, and atmosphere are still made as if only human institutions have a voice. Places absorb the consequences without a designed way to be present. Rights-of-nature and guardianship experiments show that standing can be constructed. What is missing is a practice that governments, communities, and stewards can actually commission: process, presence, and care over time.
The problem it addresses
Place-based representation is philosophically argued and legally uneven. Without a consulting practice that designs inclusion and maintains stewarded agents, the idea stays in papers and pilots. EverPresence exists so decision processes can seat geographic phenomena as first-class citizens rather than as background maps.
